Avoidance of Conflicts of Interest
The perception of conflicting interests is prohibited by lawyers with the Federal Lawyers' Act (§ 43a para 4 BRAO). Prior to accepting a retainer, we therefore always check if there is a conflict of interests.
Extrajudicial Dispute Conciliation
In the event of a dispute between lawyers and their clients, the option exists- upon request - of an alternate dispute resolution in a regional bar association (pursuant § 73 para. 2 Nr. 3 in connection with § 73 para. 5 BRAO) or at the conciliation board of the Federal Chamber of Lawyers (§ 191 et seq BRAO) at the Federal Bar Association, to be found on the internet via the homepage of the Federal Bar Association (www.brak.de or via e-Mail: firstname.lastname@example.org).
