Avoidance of Conflicts of Interest

The representation of conflicting interests is prohibited for lawyers due to professional regulations (Section 43a para. 4 BRAO). Before accepting a mandate, therefore, we always check whether there is a conflict of interest.

Extrajudicial Settlement of Disputes

Disputes between lawyers and their clients can be settled out of court upon request at the regional bar association (according to Section 73 para. 2 no. 3 in conjunction with Section 73 para. 5 BRAO) or at the arbitration board of the Federal Chamber of Lawyers (Section 191f BRAO), which can be found on the internet on the homepage of the Federal Chamber of Lawyers (www.brak.de or by e-mail to ).
